 Barbara Joe-Williams was born and raised in Rosston, Arkansas. She currently resides in Tallahassee, Florida, with her husband and young daughter. She is a full-time writer and independent publisher. She spent four years in the U. S. Navy prior to attending college. Barbara is a graduate of Tallahassee Community College and Florida A & M University. She is also a former school teacher, guidance counselor, and reading assistant. She spends her spare time traveling as an inspirational speaker or conducting workshops on writing, publishing, and marketing.
