For New Release Betty Bradford Byers Ms. Betty Bradford Byers always nurtured a desire to write books because of her curiosity about people. She got her chance after writing her first novel, entitled “Wired For Murder.” Since its release, Ms. Byers has continued to write, introducing one provocative novel after another. Her latest work, entitled “The Arcana Connection,” will hit the bookstore shelves next month. On Saturday, June 19th, Ms. Byers will host a book-signing event for her fans. It will be held at Viva La Frida, 5901 N. Florida Avenue, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. Since launching her first venture, Ms. Byers has created several other works of fiction. She is currently working on three different trilogies for “The Whitlow Sanction: Volume I,” “Wired for Murder” and “The Big Payback.” She is also the author of “Murder Unwired” and is working on her 6th novel, “Wired Straight.” Additionally, she finds the time to write a weekly column for The Sentinel, in Atlanta. A native of Florida, Ms. Byers uses her home state as a backdrop for the psychological thriller, “Wired for Murder.” The book takes the reader to Durant, Florida and offers a look at how life in a small Central Florida town changes when danger, big money capers, murder, sex, and betrayal are all added to the equation. “I’ll have four of my books at the signing, but I will feature my two latest novels. The newest arrival, “The Arcana Connection” will be introduced in July,” she said. When not writing, Ms. Byer loves to read and has a longstanding obsession with vintage clothing. When not spending quality time with her husband, James, she can often be found searching for clothing and collectables.
